Science project?

hey, i have to make up some kind of instrument for my science class. i actually have to build it and be able to play a song on it. any ideas would be helpful

you could take the cardboard part of toilet paper rolls, paper towels, aluminum foil, and stuff like that tie siran wrap around the end with a rubber band and make them smaller by cutting to adjust the sound and hum into it.

make a whole bunch of zig zag ramps and roll a marble on it and at the joints you can put metal objects that make a sound when hit. maybe.
