  1. Covering the lower site of leaves with the highest number of  stomata with Vaseline hinders photosynthesis ( transpiration and gas exchange ) and the leaves become yellow.

In the upper part there are only a few stomata, so nearly nothing will happen.

  2. leaves which have vaseline on the upper part ll  become yellow due to the absence of photosynthesis.

and the leaves which has vaseline at the lower side ll remain green and no change ll be there in it.

  3. I don't know.  But give it a try, and let us know.

    Peace.

  4. The stomata, or holes where the CO2 gas enters and the O2 gas leaves are mostly on the bottom. Therefore, covering the bottom with vaseline will prevent the leaves from obtaining the CO2 needed for photosynthesis. Covering the tops will have less effect as there is less gas exchange that occurs there. The results that you can see would be less green in the bottom covered leaves, little change on the top covered.
