  1. 1) recessive

    2) homozygous dominant*

    e.g. A = dominant, a = recessive

    Individual with A _ (unknown)

    Test Cross:

    P: A_ x aa

    F1: Aa, Aa, Aa, Aa

    therefore... the individual is AA

    if the individual was Aa

    Test cross:

    P: Aa x aa

    F1: Aa, Aa, aa, aa

which is not true according to 2)

i think this would go under biology... but i suppose botany works too

  2. 1) recessive

    2) homozygous dominant (the progeny are all heterozygous and show the dominant phenotype)
