i have to write an essay for my history class and we have to pick an example of modern scientific technology or ehancements that are controversial, ones that go against the catholic church or go against tradition. he gave us some examples (were not allowed to use these) : abortion, the morning after pill, life support (the church says never pull the plug cause of divine intervention but when the doctors say they dont have much of chance people want to pull the plug but others say theyre killing them, they never know if they could actually wake up from the vegetative state)

Most scientists believe that we humans evolved accidentally from other species through a random process of mutation and natural selection.
