Scientists from all over the world must come up with something to substitute oil as the main source of energy?

why do world scientists hasn't come up yet with a better and cheaper source of energy until now? Do you think they ran out of ideas? or they are very busy enhancing or doing something such as weapons of mass destruction? Do you think they care about humanity and world peace?Do you think these brilliant and genius scientists are crazy? we can't wait any longer!!! PLEASE DO SOMETHING AND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE....

There are plenty of systems that can replace oil.

But the oil companies buy them up and bury them as they are making too much money

It doesn't appear that your fingers are broken.  What have YOU done to come up with an alternate source of energy?  Instead of spending your time demanding that someone spoon-feed you, try solving some of these problems yourself.

Untill a substitution like this is available, there are a lot that we can do. Everyone should ask themselves whet they do for global warming, and reduce their energy consumption, water consumption. But unfortunately we do not care for tomorrow untill something bad happens. I wish that everyone should listen what Mr. Al Gore emphasizes about this problem, and follows his proposals.
