Okay I am NOT taking the scooter to a shop, they don't mess with 2 cycle engines. NOR an I taking to a lawn mower place. That is 1 hour away.

I want to fix it at home.

Well everything is working fine but when I am done pulling back the throttle, my scooter still goes a little bit. When I turn it on, it will already be hyped up and ready to go. I am not even pulling it and it goes.

What can I do to fix that????//

It's only two months old, fresh gas, never sits(I ride it everyday), 41cc, can't take it to the manufacturer either.

  1. yea adjust the idle by turning the s***w and pull ya pants up you look real ghetto. Im so hood!

  2. hmm... I have had this problem before but I would suggest if the warranty is good to take it to the manufacturer so you dont void the warranty. I modified the speed on mine to lower it and the warranty got void and I only had it for like a week.... they should put on the scooter that if the speed is modified, the warranty is void :(

  3. First it is most likely a 49cc engine... now to fix the idle... simple, there is a s***w on your carberator the will adjust the idle speed... just back it out a little and problem solved.

  4. Check the idle speed setting-it is a small s***w on the carb-just follow the fuel line from the tank to the carb it should be very close. With another person or the scooter up agains a wall or curb SLOWLY turn the s***w counter clockwise and see if the engine speed slows down. make very small adjustments and give it a few seconds to adjust.

  5. No sweat!

Lower the idle s***w, until it stops grabbing, it is common to have to adjust the idle a couple of times during break in on these smaller engines, no worries
