  1. when all bikes and cars are DMV or RTA  is weight and cc of vehicles  its just paper work,,really  a 900 duke is a 845cc..you find most bikes and cars (99%) are not the CC the sticker says to what on the engine block ..check out Pitcity on any net serach on bikes and extreme stuff


  2. Most motorcycle and scooter engines are slightly less than the number they specify.  A 750cc motorcycle is likely to be 748cc or 745cc.  I'm not sure exactly why this is.

    It might be that laws are usually written for '150cc or under', or for 'under 150cc'.  So 148 or 149 will be save either way.

  3. Well, in Illinois, you will still only need a class "L" endorsement to ride that....149CC or 150CC.  Illinois law says you need a class "M" endorsement for 151CC's and higher.

  4. Common stuff.  Manufacturers and DMV's like to round to their advantage.
