  1. I'm guessing you are talking about Dowling College, which is the only school to offer an MBA in aviation management. This MBA was created for people that wanted to get an MBA specifically to work in the airline industry, but didn't have previous aircraft experience. It also enables students to take the FAA air traffic control exam. If the student had an undergrad degree in aviation management, he would already have taken this test.

My undergrad degree was aviation technology, and I'm currently finishing up my MBA. Unless you need the airline specific MBA, I wouldn't do it. Earning an airline specific degree greatly reduces potential jobs. At my current job there are plenty of mechanical and industrial engineers, and we build jet engines. I think we only have one actual aerospace engineer.

My point is, you can get an aviation management job with some experience and an MBA. But I don't know how easy it will be to get a job anywhere else with an MBA in aviation.
