  1. Cuetec dropped Strickland a while ago after he broke one of his cues in a tirade. I think Scorpion is similar to Cuetec. They both market composite (fiberglass or graphite) cladding to help prevent warpage. They both also use the same joint pin. I haven't played with any of their playing cues, but I do use their jump cue every now and then. It came with a hard leather tip, but I had that changed once it broke. It's one of the lighter ones on the production market and I learned to jump one-handed with it.

Cues are so personal though, and it's more about the archer, not the arrow. It's just whatever feels better to you. Once I changed the tip on my Cuetec to a Tiger Dynamite, I liked the way it felt. Unfortunately, it was warped by then so I don't use it. I guess the one thing I didn't like about Cuetec's cladding is that it was stickier so I had to use a glove. But that hasn't been the case with Scorpion's jump cue.

  2. Archer is the only one I know of for sure

But off camera he dont use one

    Same with earl & cuetec

But I have never used one myself

I have longoni sticks that have never been chalked I just like the way they look my Main stick is a players S Pete.$65 but not quite off the shelf

  3. I have no experience with Scorpion cues either.  And thinking about it, I don't know anyone that I play with or noticed playing against using one.  I'm pretty happy with my Jacoby, although its been pretty neglected sense my little guy was born the day after Christmas.
