Scorpion repellent?

Question

One of my tenants has had three scorpions in her apartment. We are currently in our monsoon season in the S/E AZ desert. I don't like poisons - does anyone know of a good natural deterent?

I use peppermint extract for the ants, but obviously it doesn't work on scorps...

Cedar extract seems to work pretty well from me here in Texas.

I have been buying straight cedar extract (Essential Oil) and mixing about 1/4 teaspoon in a 2 quart spray bottle and spraying it around my house and in the attic. I haven't seen any since.

There are also products out there pre-mixed like cedarcide (I think that's how it's spelled.)
