Scot Abbey expected to finish first in Ladbrokes Casino Open 525
In the €500 race of the Ladbrokes Casino Open 525, the R. Roberts trained blue dog will demonstrate a calculated run to wrest success from the jaws of his five worthy rivals who are too h**l-bent to fight hard for victory. The open race over 525 yards is
scheduled to take place at Shelbourne Park on Thursday night, August 23.
The two-year-old novice hound will break from Trap 6 when the race starts at 21:50 (GMT). After proving his skills well at different venues, he is quite ready to register first ever triumph of the OR format.
The dashing dog started his career in October 2011, breaking his maiden on February 27, 2012. Since then, he has been in good form--- though not winning regularly.
After a few decent performances, the talented son of Droopys Scolari out of Vigilant Amy nicely won the Shelbourne A5 525 Semi-final on July 12, daringly defeating the hot favourite candidate Squeezy Ollie.
The brilliant sprinter moved on to finish as the runner-up in his second last start entitled as Shelbourne A5 525 Final. This was a little bit depressing for the trainer who now hopes that his pupil will make up for that loss by winning tonight’s race.
Thus, Scot Abbey will run with the burden of immense hopes on his shoulders. The only hurdle that may deny him success is Forest Rock, the Mason trained black dog who is awash with confidence following his impressive victory in the Ladbrokes Mobile App A1
525 Semi-final of August 9.
Prior to this, the veteran hound had won ECC Timber A2 525 Final on June 27. He also finished as the runner-up in the Bernard Barry Bookmaker A1 Quck Result Semi-final on July 25.
The son of Royal Impact out of Forest Swallow grabbed the runner-up position in his last start named as Ladbrokes Mobile App A1 525 Final. This is almost the same situation that happened to Scot Abbey. Now, both the mighty hounds are h**l-bent to win this
race. This is going to make the event thrilling and interesting enough. Let us see who manages to translate his dream into reality. Good luck to the duo.
