Question:

Scotish Highland Cattle?

I know that they come from scotland, but i was wondering if the people there, let them roam around freely or as "wildlife" or something close to that?

And yes ive searched the internet for it, but i cant find anything about it.

  1. No . Highland Cattle are bred and recognised as such . They originated from the black cattle which Highlanders bred and took to the Trysts ( cattle markets ) each Michaelmas ( Oct/November) on what was termed a drove . The Trysts were held in various centres but Crieff was the largest until it moved in the 1780s to Falkirk. Black cattle were actually a variety of colours and now the most popular is dun or brown .
