  4. Scotland is a welcoming place for all . Wide choice of places and activities look up www.visitscotland.com.

  5. Glasgow is a good place to start.with its art museum transport museum science museum and many shops restaurants and pubs and many lovely buildings to view.Edinburgh is only a half hour train journey away and that has the castle of course the zoo many shops and restaurants etc. they do ghost walks at night and there is always shows at the play house.there is plenty other things to do in these two great cities ask the locals they will tell you whats happening locally the scots are very friendly.try and go to safari park at blairdrumond its a good day out.Stirling is another nice place with the old prison and Stirling castle again that is full of history and only 20 min from Edinburgh by train.the queen mothers birth place is a short journey north of Dundee in a small village called glamis.travel north up the east coast and see the scenery it is breathtaking up through the cairn'a'mount you will need a car for this one it is lovely in all seasons this route takes to banchory and out to balmoral castle where the royals spend their Scottish vacations.the north east coast is also gorgeous with miles of golden sandy beaches .which takes you Aberdeen the city of oil.the further north you go the more the scenery get breathtaking.its certainly worth a two week break to visit Scotland and bring a camera you will need it.we have tourist information offices in most major towns and cities with all the information on places to stay and prices it would be worth a visit to the tourist information for scotland site.the midges seem to be worse on the west course i live on the east coast and dont get as much problem with them.they can be most annoying so do remember to take repelent as it does help
