The Scottish youth patented another exceptional win after defeating the Kenyan side at the Woodvale Road, Eglinton, on Sunday, August 7, 2011. The triumph came as the 7th successive win for the Scottish U19 team from the proceeding International
Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 (U19) World Cup Qualifier, landing the youth side on the top spot on the tournament ranking.
Complements to the young skipper, Patrick Sadler, who led a well brooded side into some competitive wins throughout the competition, offered the audience with some star performances coming from the much assorted talent on his team.
As for their over-all run at the tournament, the young side took off with a troubling start following a defeat at the hands of the Canadian U19 team.
The match, staged at the Inch, Dublin, on July 28, came as the first participation for both the sides, but ended in an unfortunate loss for team Scotland after the match came to a close encountered wrap-up leaving the Canadians with a 6-run win.

Scotland then offered an impressive 8 wickets defeat to the United States of America (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Afghanistan-c745 on the next day.
Adding a couple more wins to their streak, the team now stands at the tournament’s top, followed by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nepal-c2965 U19 and Ireland U19 on the respective second and 3rd spots.
More is to be expected from team Scotland, as the side is yet to participate in their last match of the competition against the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Vanuatu-c3038 side, on August 9, at the Lodge Road arena, Coleraine.
