Scott, did you somehow miss the fact that the issue has been removed from the November ballot?

On Monday (June 28,2010) Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner received a request to remove the slots issue from the November ballot. This request was made in hand delivered letter form received from the Let Ohio Vote group: the only entitiy legally able to remove the issue from the ballot.
