Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scott-Dann-c32662 could be back sooner than expected.
Dann, the 24-year-old defender, suffered a ruptured t******e during the match against West Bromwich Albion at Ewood Park in early December. It was thought that he would be out at least until February but according to Kean the centre back could be making
an early return.
Kean said in an interview:
“Scott has made great progress.
It was originally thought that he would be sidelined for at least six weeks, but he is back training inside a month and very close to returning to match action, which is obviously great news.”
It was the same match in which Dann has scored his first goal that he sustained the horrific injury which was expected to keep him sidelined for six weeks. So far he has made 11 appearances in all competitions, with one goal to his name.
The defender signed for Blackburn Rovers in the summer transfer window from Birmingham City, when the side was relegated to League One at the end of the season. While he will be disappointed to miss out on football action, Kean will be hoping for his speedy
recovery and quick return.
