Scott Niedermayer will play another year with the Ducks. Is Teemu Selanne going to stay in Anaheim now?

Personally, I say Scotty is what made Anaheim a contender after the lockout. If he had retired the team would struggle to get into the playoffs and not win a cup this year. Agree or disagree?

Oh goody, so he's going to play the full season this time. After what he did last season imo he does NOT deserve to be a C. Only people that don' t jack up the roster by actually playing the full season earn my respect.  I'm in no way an a$$ kisser w/celebs of any sort. I don't buy this ohhh he can do w/e he wants he's a hockey god..BS! Get your *** on the ice or shut the ___ up. I think Teemu will be back too.

He's a great player.  It's a shame he's on a team like Anaheim.  I think the same thing about Selanne too.  I think that the Ducks are not a great team.  I think they are dirty and I think they cry a lot.  That's a very unbecoming combination of traits.  I love my team, but I will always have an allegiance to the sport first.   I like the Sharks a lot, they are a really solid team that plays hard, but not dirty.  I never want to see the Wings lose, but when they were down in their series last year to the Sharks I was OK losing to a better team that played hard.   The Sharks have a lot of heart and they grind.  I would much rather see Niedermayer on the Sharks, because he seemed to be above the whining and filth that the Ducks seem not only capable of, but apt to.

I think Selanne is probably going to come back.  What else is he going to do?

maybe, Blues might want him cause they hav Paul Kariya and they are a good mix. that might be int he future but right now chances is that hes gonna stay.

I agree with Kate that Scotty needs to be the captain again, Pronger was horrible!  From what I have heard it sounds like Teemu really wants to play again but I still don't think that he will come back.  I sure hope he does though.  I love him, he is such a great player and a wonderful addition to the team.
