Scott Parker hails successful season with the Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker has revealed he considers his first season at White Hart Lane a success and believed he had adjusted well with the London side.
The 31-year-old was signed by Harry Redknapp from Championship side West Ham United in the summer transfer window and in a short while has gone to establish himself in the first team. After helping the Spurs finish fourth, Parker has joined up with the England
team for the European Championships.
Parker said while speaking to Spurs TV:
“It's gone very well for me personally.”
Tottenham Hotspur failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the next season despite finishing in the top four since their London rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 won the Champions League against Bayern Munich and took up Harry Redknapp’s men’s place in the European
competition.
Parker still believes his new side had a fantastic season and that he had done really well with the team. According to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international, the existing squad had complemented him perfectly. He continued:
“I think I've complemented the team well and at the same time the players have complemented me. I feel like I've fitted in really well and I'm really pleased with how it's gone.”
In his debut season with Tottenham Hotspur, Parker went on to make 32 appearances in all competitions, with 27 of those coming in the English Premier League. While he did not score any goals, the midfielder’s contributions were more than enough for the London
side.
Parker revealed:
“When you come to a new club, the one thing you want to do is settle in really well, settle in quickly and hit the ground running. I felt like I did that.”
The former West Ham United man said he had a fantastic season with the Spurs and was now looking forward to the new season. The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder said:
“It's been brilliant. I've had a fantastic season, I've been around some great people and some great players. This is a very good club and as everyone knows, as a kid, I supported Spurs, so it's been fantastic for me.”
