has taken a chance on Scott Parker.
Parker said in an interview:
“I can't remember my last tournament. It is probably the European Under-21 Championships but they are so long ago I can't even remember how we did.
It is a massive gap that's for sure, so this tournament will be a very fulfilling experience in my career.”
Parker, who has not participated in a major tournament since his involvement with the under-21 national side, revealed he was extremely happy to have had the opportunity to help his country. The 31-year-old revealed he was looking forward to the tournament,

France look to be tough opposition to an England side, who have been declared underdogs in the tournament. The French under Laurent Blanc have been doing well on the international stage, extending their unbeaten run to 21 games after they defeated http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Estonia-c2894
on Tuesday.
The Spurs midfielder admitted the upcoming game would be tough, but was confident about his side’s chances of defeating the French.
He revealed:
“It will be a tough game, as it always is against France. France are a very good team full of talented individuals. We are going to have to be disciplined and strong defensively to nullify that.
It will be tight but we have our own threats going forward. Hopefully we can hit them the other way.”
