Scott Sinclair completes Swansea switchVersatile Chelsea striker Scott Sinclair has completed a move to Swansea City and signed a three-year contract.Sinclair had been linked with the Swans for most of the summer but the deal was taking longer to iron out due to drawing up the contract and the player needing to complete a medical at the club.Swansea manager Brendan Rogers said: "It's a massive coup for us because he is a big talent and has been a sought after player since he broke on to the scene. As far as I am concerned, there's no better place for him than Swansea City. He is only 21 and still has big potential."Sinclair spent a long time contracted to Chelsea but never quite made the grade required. He was loaned out to Wigan last season before making the switch to Swansea this summer. He has a number of qualities that should see him do well at his new club.Qualities to do wellSinclair is a very gifted technical player. He has the right technique needed to keep the ball and run with it for long distances. This means he is able to attack without giving the ball away. He's been out on loan six times since 2007 and will probably now be grateful for the chance to settle down at a club. This proves that he does not have an ego because he would have otherwise made a fuss about being constantly moved around from club to club. He's very quick and this is a valuable asset in the Championship. The defence of most teams in the Championship will be of a slightly lower quality than Sinclair is used to. This means he should be able to get in behind defences and use his pace to go through on goal. One thing he must work on is his productivity in front of goal. He has only scored eight times during the last three years. This could be because he's constantly been on the move but it demonstrates his finishing needs to get better.Betting adviceSinclair will be a main part of Swansea's team this season. He should score a few goals and give the side a better chance of making at least the play-offs. Don't be afraid to have a punt on them going up to the Premier League because they're a solid outside bet.
