Since when did Scottie have a supporting cast? Michael Jordan was the leader of the team. The numbers prove it. Who scored more points, who has more MVPs, who has more Finals MVPs?  However it is very obvious that Larry Bird had a better supporting cast. This is just another testiment that Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time. He lead a so-so team to 6 championships.

both at their prime it would be close. mchale and parish will expose the softness of longley and rodman would feel really inadequate - about 4 inches short.

johnson and ainge would be overmatched though vs jordan harper and snipping of kerr,

kukoc and pippen vs bird and wedman would then cancel each other out.

it seems longley and rodman have no choice but to foul out esp as celtics still have walton.

really close game. head to head games of bird vs jordan is in favor of bird  id say in a one game play celtics will win.  but in a 7 game series bulls will win.

It's not even close.  The Celtics frontcourt is arguably the best frontcourt of all-time.  Ainge and Dennis Johnson are not bad players at all- and Wedman was a machine off the bench- nod to the Celtics- no doubt.
