  5. have a look at our scottish restaurant menu, we are in a not very tourist area but our food represents quality + value for money & most of it is local trade. often those who cater for tourists have rip off prices + produce mediocre food because they get awaywith it (holiday folk don't have to go back but others will so the same bad food/service goes on). my tip is: ask in local shops where's good to eat. the locals know the good places as they eat in them!
