Scotland can be a free nation , why England still doesn't allow them to be free and independent?

  4. The Scots themselves.  You can't preserve the old traditions and still use the Internet, cell phones, etc.

  5. they were independent till 1707 then they joined the united kingdom in a political move. which means they are ruled by queen elizabeth so they have to file a petition for independence. they do benefit from being part of the UK though. they have inaugurated a member into the house the is for the independence of scotland again but that may take some time .  however most of the country has kept its independence by keeping certain heritages

  6. England doesn't stop Scotland doing anything.  If we Scots want to vote for independence then that's our choice & nobody can stop us.  As it is just now though a referendum on the subject is still well over a year away.  We'll hav to wait until then.
