Scottrade help with Stock Trade?

Scottrade: I placed an order for a trade 2 days ago and now the STATUS of the order show OPEN and ACTION BUY. Does this mean the order went through or still pending? thanks

What kind of order?  Day order or GTC (good until canceled)?  If it was a limit order maybe that stock did not hit your limit or did not linger there long enough to fill your order (check 1 day or 5 day chart).
