Scotty Pippen or Charles Barkley in their prime?

ID have to take Pippen... He was one of, if not the best, defender of all time... especially on the perimeter... Plus, he could shoot the 3, take it to the rim, and he was unselfish.... Barkley was great and really overachieving, since he was only about Dwayne Wades height, and was a huge rebounder, but Pip brings more to the table

Good lord, this is a mismatch!!!

Sir Charles was the 2nd greatest player of his era! The only reason he didn't win multiple championships was because of a guy playing at the same time named MJ!!!

Pippen was a defensive phenom and deadly running the break, but in the half-court offense, gimme Toni Kukoc... Pippen hit 3's on fast-break kickouts, but Barkely hit 3's when the game was on the line.  Didn't shoot em frequently but when he did, he sank 'em.

Nobody could stop Barkley in his prime... nobody.

Scottie Pippen, he would be a good fit to the Spurs. Bowen and him would frustrate every ace player.

scottie pipen..coz sir charles is  small for a power forward although he proved that he can score and rebound..but no rings to show for..for me chips is the most important category for choosing over awards and stats..

Barkley's team was never Championship contender until his MVP season ... so Barkley never had chance for multiple Championships

That's why he made it to Final only 1 time in his career ..

Same goes to Karl Malone and Stockton ... they made it to Finals only 2 times in their 18 years together ... and it not like Jordan was stopping them from going to Finals ... They couldn't not win Championship when Jordan retired for 1st time and they couldn't win Championship when Jordan retired for 2nd time ..didn't even make Finals ... So how is that Jordan stopped them winning Championship ?

If you gonna say cuz Bulls won over Jazz in Finals ... then all other teams that beat em in other 16 years stopped them from winning Championship to..

Bottom line is They were never Great team or Real Title Contender..

it's like 2000's Nets ... sure they made it to Finals 2 in row just like Jazz .. but they were never REAL THREAT!

But to your question i would take Pippen because Lakers needs someone that can play physical and defensive basketball and we need Small-Forward really bad
