Scrached screen.. if I want to?

if I want to change my laptops' screen can I change it.. Mine is fine.. but my brothers laptops' screen is scrached on the side..

If you're talking about buying/using a different screen, then of course you can. My friend has a 2 year old computer using a 5 year old screen.
