Scramble set for stealing the Coral Brighton Belle – 2nd Semi-Final
The 2 to 1 shot for the race, Scramble, is the most preferred entry for the Coral Brighton Belle – 2nd Semi-Final. She will face five other rivals over the 515 metres flat race on Thursday, 23rd August at Hove. Competing for the £200 prize money are Seven Of Spades, Airforce Jewel, Ballymac Sicily, Sharies Miller and Jaytee Monroe.
The form of Head Bound’s daughter deteriorated during the last two races while she claimed the two races that she took part in right before the fifth and then the second ranking.
The two-year-old black b***h started racing just this season and posted a success when she raced for a second time. Scramble won a 400 metres race at Romford on 7th February, 2012 by setting into an early pace, racing by the rails and then crossing the wire in 24.23 seconds.
Her 1 length lead had Droopys Erica set as the runner-up.
On 25th February she missed the chance of posting the career debut hat-trick as she finished third in the Ladbrokes.Com 480 Puppies Division 1 at Monmore over 480 metres.
The race was won by, Benkaat Blue.
During the last month, the two-year-old out of, Bluetoon Megan, won twice. She claimed the Coral Hove Ladies – Dup on 15th July, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres. Entered as the joint favourite, the two-year-old did not wait for long to race away and stamped the lead concluding the race in 29.67 seconds while defeating Jaytee Monroe by three lengths.
Ending third behind the winner was, Perles Orchid.
The next stop of the D. Childs trained was in the Coral Ladies Trophy – Heat 2 on 26th July, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres. She did get crowded after being quick to race and then had to pick up pace from the second spot making it to the other end of the wire in 30.31 seconds with just a short head’s difference from the runner-up, Dixies Craft.
After bumping into a fifth position she ended as the runner-up in the fourth heat of the Coral Brighton Belle on 16th August, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres. The favourite entry of the race managed the race in 29.93 seconds.
