Scrambled Television?

A few days ago, my dad took the access card out of the TV for punishment. He put it back in a few hours later, but since then it's been scrambled and annoying, especially in the later channels such as 124. What can we do to fix this?

Call your SAT provider and ask them to reauthorize your receiver, first make sure the access card is positioned the right way, even try resetting the receiver by pressing the red button next to the access card behind the flap at the front of the receiver
