can anyone tell me the prices for scrap metal, and what will they give for washing machines and are they taking steel for sothern illinois

washing machines are white goods and vary in recycling prices from $40 to $70 per ton.  For Steel scrap metal, depending on how it is prepared, (HMS 1 , HMS 2, etc.) you should be able to get around $490 per ton +/-  for other scrap metal prices try http://scrapmetalpricesandauctions.com/
