Scrapbook for mum..?

I'm making a scrapbook for my mum and I'm not sure what I should put in it. I've already got photos, poetry and song lyrics. I'm working on a couple of memories to put in as well. Has anyone got any other ideas that I could include?

That sounds like a really good idea! =]

Me and my friends made a scrapbook for our friend, and we lightly sprayed the pages with her favourite perfume so whenever she opens it she smells it!

You could also write her a personal letter and stick it in the back, she would like that!

How about in the very back add a coupon booklet of things like 1 free hug and ... But make sure you put an expiration date on them.

Why not include a collection of her past boyfriends befoer she met your father?

If she has a favourite flower, you could press one of those in between some heavy books overnight,

Sounds great already! I'm sure your mum will love it. How about putting in a short list of things that make your mum special to you or the best things about her?

The flower idea is a great one.  To keep the books from being damaged, press the flowers between layers of newspaper and wait at least a week before peeking.  Small flowers make cute borders and larger ones can be focal points.  Flowers from significant places might be fun.

Perfumes contain alcohol which can damage the scrapbook.  It is a cute idea, so if you want to do it, get a tiny zipper locking plastic bag, spray a piece of paper with the scent, put that in the bag and keep the bag closed.  Coffee filter paper is a good one for holding scents and can be cut easily.

Have you got any drawings you made when you were little? Or old mother's day cards? Mums love that kind of stuff.
