Does anyone know the price of cast iron for scrap?

  1. Old free standing radiators are worth more as restoration pieces than scrap.

    The fancier the better.

    Try pricing them at a  house wtrecker / salvage yard.

    If you have a number of them , srappers will take them for "free" & then sell them to builders that do "period" renovations.

    Might as well keep the money.

    Also , might try the This Old House site on YA.
