Scratched chrome bezel on iPhone

My iPhone is a little scratched on the chrome bezel. Is there any easy way to somehow buff it out?

Try wetting a little baking soda and rubbing with your finger.  Baking soda is a mild abrasive and adding water turns it into a paste.

Or try toothpaste.

If it's metal, try Brasso and cotton balls.  But chances are it is just chrome plated and you'll just rub the chrome off.  Better yet, use "jeweler's rouge" and cotton balls and very, very gently rub the scratch and see what happens.

Chances are even better that the bezel is plastic, just like most of the "chrome" on today's cars.  If it's plastic, forget it. Maybe you can trade the phone in on another one.
