Question:

Screen Becomes Grey in The Sims 2?

I just downloaded University Expansion Pack into my laptop. I am currently using Windows Vista.

When I want to play, it started all fine until I clicked on "Pleasantview" neighborhood and suddenly the whole screen turned grey! But the music is still playing. And when I move the cursor around, the names of lots and houses can still be seen.

This is all happened after I downloaded the University pack, so can anybody tell me what's wrong with it and how can I solve this?

  1. maybe it's the memory of your pc. this means your pc cannot play university aswell as sims 2 because there is too much memory. or maybe its the university you downloaded. best thing is to delete university, as you dont want to damage your laptop. if you want university so bad download another one, and if that goes grey its probly because you havent got much memory on your graphics card im not a computer wiz, but i wanted sims 2 on my pc and it kept closing and jamming. hope i helped

  2. ..installed  downloading is something else

from the sound of it you have nvidia gray screen

    try  that first

if  you do not have an nvidia  video card  your may have an integrated video card  expansion packs and stuffs packs  up the requirements  and  your video card might be able to handle  your  base game but not the  expansion packs

if  you dont have a laptop  you can  upgrade  your video card

nvidia or ati  either wil do fine
