Screen Printing classes in San Diego?

I'm dying to take a screen printing class. I'm in San Diego. Help! Is there anyway to just print out my own designs from my home printer and put them on shirts (dark colored). Help! I'm not even sure if mine's an inkjet or laser. It's an HP Photosmart C5280 All in one. =/
