Question:

Screen Saver Problem!!!?

I recently purchsed an HP desk top computer with the new Windows Vista. I use my family photos as a background for the monitor. The problem I am having is the screen saver will not activate. I check the screen saver that I would like (bubbles), hit the apply button with a 4 minute inactivity time period. After 4 minutes, the screen saver never activates. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  1. Remember that if the mouse is knocked or a button is pressed that 4 minutes then starts again.

If there is no movement then you may have a software or hardware problem. Re-installing windows would solve this. But this is not really ideal as involves backing up everything or you will lose it all.

Do you really need the bubbles screen saver ha ha

  2. Your computer is probably running background processes that are in the foreground type thing, screensavers do not usually activate when you are running programs like MSN or scanning your computer for viruses, this is normal for all of us.
