Screen blackout on Ilo TV

Question

I get a solid black box that fills up most of the screen on my new Ilo TV...it happens on different channels...cable man said problem no with cable but with the TV.

Sometimes I get the message, "television is here" in the black box...I can get it to go away by pressing any button on my remote but it comes right back after a few seconds.

Can you please help me with this? I would be eternally grateful!
