Screen has turned a blue tint after turning itself...

Question

My Toshiba 32A33 turned itself off and the red power light began flashing instead of remaining solid. I had to unplug the power cord and plug it back it to get it to turn back on. Now that it is back on, it looks like the picture has a translucent blue veil over it there are darker blue slanted lines across the screen. The TV is only 2 1/2 years old. Is this fixable for someone who has never repaired a TV before or do I need to call a specialist? Please help!
