Screen is broken, is it worth fixing

Question

The screen on my set was internally cracked during the move to my new apartment. When I turn it on you can see all of the cracks and no picture just colors. basically it is ruined. It is still under the 3 year warranty that i purchased with it but I am not sure it will be covered. If it is not covered under the warranty is it worth the money to fix the television or just junk it and buy a new one?
