Screen protector for a tablet laptop?

I just bought an Hp Pavilion tx 2120 us and I was wondering if it is necessary to get a screen protector? if I should, my next question would be: would the stylus pen still be recognized on the screen? thanks!

Some screens benefit by using screen protectors and others don't require them (like my TC1100 which has a tempered glass screen).

They will have no effect on your pen interface at all.
