Screen won't advance after entered password

Question

Have the white Pro. Put laptop in travel bag while moving over weekend. When I turn the laptop on and enter my password, the screen does not take me to the main page, but rather to a blue screen. The computer was not dropped or had any hard impact. Is there a way to re-set or solution?
