Screenshot Help!

Question

My sister has a program called fine pix veiwer that is where she views her pictures taken from her camcorder. She double clicks a photo if she wants to edit that picture in a photoshop called digital image pro. Someone said that I can take a screenshot picture by pressing the button next to the f12 the button is prn scrn and paste the screenshot onto photoshop or paint. I dont want to do paint because I cant zoom in. How do I get to digital image pro without opening an existing picture. So I can paste it on there.

PLEASE HELP!

I don't know how digital image pro works (never used it) but if you can paste a picture you can just paste the printed screen otherwise you could maybe open the prtn screen in paint word ect save it and load it into digital pro?
