Ok, I'm using my older computer. My new one crashed. But whatever. I'm using Windows 2000 and I forget if you can/ how to take a screenshot. If you could remind me how that would be great.

Thanks

  1. I forgot, it is shift+prscrn or alt+prscrn

  2. Can't you just press the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard? I've never used windows 2000 but on windows xp, and vista, this works.

  3. Hit print screen to take a full screen shot and shift-print screen to just capture the window.   To the view your shot go into what ever application you want to see it in, mspaint, word, outlook, etc....right click and hit paste.

  4. print screen and go to paint and then ctrl+v

  5. Push the Print Screen button. It's usually between the F12 and Pause Break buttons.

Then open a program like MS Paint and Go to Edit Paste or Ctrl V

    ^_^

  6. If you look above the num lock key, to the top Left, there should be a row of three keys, from right to left, Pause/Break, Scroll Lock, and Print Screen/SysRq. Print screen will take a screen shot that will be availible to paste in Paint or elsewhere.

  7. right click mouse

    select "save page as"

  8. print screen located: diagonal right of the of the backspace key (the one above above the return key)

  9. prt scr to the right of your f12 key. That copies it to your clipboard and you can paste it somewhere.

  10. uhmm look at the very top right corner of your keyboard and it says

    print screen

    -----------------

    SysRq

  11. CTRL + Print screen key then open word and CTRL + V key.

  12. Print key button.  Paste it into word or a graphics program.

There is a great freeware program called printkey too.  It works great.
