Script question regarding writing

Since about 2002 I've been writing graphic novels and Tokyopop wants me to submit one of them. I showed the novel to my editor and some other people. All of them explained that I need my novel to be in script form before I can submit it. First, is this true when it comes to anime scripts? Second, I cannot find anywhere online that has an exact example as to the format that I need to put my work from novel to script form. Hope someone can help, thanks.

There is no formula for translating a novel into a script. Get hold of an anime script so you can see what it looks like. Now you have to pack your novel into a filmable form in that script and keep it to the exact length they need. Not easy...
