Scrolling Line Propblem

I just recently purchased a Samsung Television. The model number is LNT4661F 46" LCD HDTV. I've notice a purple line that keeps scrolling horizontally across the screen. What can be done/adjusted to eliminate it? It is very disctracting. Is this a defect?
