  1. The most important thing is awareness of whats going on around you. You need to know if the full-back is out of position, is there space behind the scrum that you can exploit? Speed is important too, when you pass the ball, it needs to be a fast and accurate pass, if you are linking with your fly-half, he needs to get the ball quickly so he has time to use it before the flanker can get to him.
The ability to pass quickly and accurately from both hands is 90% of the job. That and the ability to kick accuratley to exploit out of position opponents or to gain ground.
If you put the ball into the scrum, wait for your hookers signal, if, when you put the ball in, you drop it slightly on the end of the ball facing the opposition, it will bounce into your pack. but you will need to try that a few times before you get to a scrum. Working with your number 8 will come with training.

  2. you need to be good at kicking the ball

  3. just keep bossy at the forwards and stay behind the rucks and malls to pass the ball after these basics you can work on techniques :)

  4. pass the ball off the floor dont pick it up then pass it pass it strait off the floor

  5. Pull the extra forward out of the rucks to get a couple of more yards and always be in control of the game shout at your forwards to get in the ruck or out or to drive in a maul always always look for the gap e.g. blindside or openside and if some one is in the channel of the 9 and 10 tell them to move
