Sea doo wont start?

Question

Well heres the info Please help summers almost over and we dont want to wait 3 weeks to get it serviced.

The info

- Yamaha VX Cruiser 2007

- Got it at the begging of last summer

- suspected wiring problems

What Happens

--------------------

Press the ignition button. nothing happens, sometimes you hear a air conditioning noise.

We have tried sanding the terminals to see if that helps.. Nothing!

We replaced the battery... Nothing!

Previously to get it started you would have to shake the terminal wires that hook to the battery around and oventially it would start. THEN that stopped and you would have to follow the ground wire and shake that.. Now it will never start! Please tell us whats wrong!

You need to take this in for service by a professional.  You are risking fire and or injury by shaking the wires to get it started. AND you might be causing additional damage to your PWC. I agree the problem might be the starter, or the solenoid, or the start button itself, but you need someone who knows what to check, and has the special equipment to check it out.  Good Luck!!!!

Check/replace the starter motor.

make sure wires arent lose, u might need to replace starter, spark plugs, but it sounds like wiring problem as you said
