  1. If you are asking if you can have sea horses with your other saltwater fish, that would depend on your other fish.

Sea horses are very slow fish that require specific conditions.  Only docile fish should be kept with them.  Salt water fish are not listed as tropicals.

Remember there are no fresh water seahorses.

  2. No you cannot keep them with other fish. They are shy and timid creature's. They prefer to be left alone, and not bothered. I have looked into it, and everybody I speak with says to keep them in a separate tank because of this. Also sea horse's are a salt water animal, and not a fresh water one.

  3. No you cannot keep sea horse's in fresh water tropical fish tanks as they are salt water only.

  4. Seahorses are saltwater, and the only thing they can go with are snails, and crabs b/c they are so slow. Seahorses are also really hard to care for, especially if you do not know your exact species. Like, dwarf seahorses. They can only eat baby brine shrimp and crabs are large enough to catch and kill them so live rock can not be used. Please do not even try to care for seahorses unless you are an expert at caring for saltwater fish tank care, they are so fragile and unfortunately, popular. B/c of this inexperienced people buy them and they die b/c they do not get proper care. But no, no fish should ever go with seahorses or the seahorses will not get enough food.
