  1. just to be safe I would wait.

  2. I was under the impression that you only had to wait the 24 hours if you use tap and don't use the purifier packet.  At least that's how it worked when I got Betta fish.

  3. to be safe i would wait 24 hours i didnt wait and they didnt survive so long..

  4. you could put it in but they wouldn't hatch anyway until after 24 hours. part of their gimmick is "instant" life. they want you to think that the eggs hatch instantly when you pour in the eggs after 24 hours when the truth is the purifier package actually already contains some eggs. then when you pour in the eggs after 24 hours you will see "instant" sea monkeys.  there's one easy way to test this, don't put the eggs in until after 48 hours. if baby sea monkeys appear before then. it will prove what i just said

  5. yes, they will survive if you put the eggs in, just make sure the water is about 5 degrees above room temperature all the time. they are very sensitive to the cold. sunlight is good too, it promotes quick growth.  so i would make sure the water is about 73 degrees farenheight.
