I have thought about buying one of these Seago TSR320 Ranger Inflatable with Inflatable Floor & Keel

if you have one of these or an inflatable boat can you use them in the sea at Blackpool or St Annes? or do you need a permit or anything? or what waterways can you use them on, free of charge?do you have to pay at the lakes? if you have the Seago TSR320 Ranger what motor have you got, what make and size of motors are best do you think? I have never owned a boat,as you have probably gathered, so your information is valued. cheers

  1. You can use your boat in the sea without a permit or licence but you should have insurance.

You will have to pay to use a launching ramp.

IF 320 refers to the length of the boat - it is a bit small to go to sea but OK for just off the beach or in sheltered water.

you'll only need a small outboard motor

Ask the dealer for recommended size(power)

Most waterways require you to have a permit of some sort . best to ask before you launch if there are no signs.

Most boating people are happy to advise- so go to a popular place for boaters and ask away.
