Seahorses and Turtles?

I want to put a seahorse in a turtle in the same tank..will that be ok? Also how do you change the water for a seahorse..like do you take it out just like a turtle? And what things will you need for the seahorses?

  1. no you can't house them together the sea horse needs salt water and the turtle needs fresh water and it is more than likely that the turtle will eat the sea horse, best to keep them separate.

  3. Arent seahorses saltwater??? Anyway, no...Your turtle will eat the seahorse. You should never combine 2 different species.

    I have had 2 sliders for 36 yrs now plus a 7 yr old and a 5 yr old. This is how I have taken care of them for 36 yrs. Great pets.

  5. Seahorses are saltwater creatures, which require a lot of care and perfect water requirements. Turtles are too dirty, and are not of the same requirements.
